School Governance
Claire Junior School operates under a Board of Governors / Directors that provides policy direction, financial oversight, and strategic leadership. Day-to-day academic and administrative operations are managed by the Head Teacher, supported by a team of qualified and dedicated teachers.
Below is an overview of the school’s governance structure, highlighting the key leadership roles and how they work together to ensure effective management and quality education:
- Board of Directors / Governors: Policy oversight, strategic direction, and financial governance
- Head Teacher / Director: Academic leadership, administration, and staff management
- Deputy Head Teacher: Academic coordination, timetabling, and discipline
- Class Teachers (P.1 – P.7): Daily instruction, pupil welfare, and parental communication
- Bursar / Accounts Officer: Fees collection, financial records, and procurement
- School Counsellor: Pupil guidance, welfare, and counselling

Head Teacher / Director
The Head Teacher of Claire Junior School is a seasoned education professional with extensive experience in primary school administration and curriculum delivery in Uganda. Holding a Bachelor of Education degree and certified by the Ministry of Education and Sports, the Head Teacher provides visionary leadership that has seen the school grow into a respected institution in Western Uganda.
