Beyond the Classroom

At Claire Junior School, school life is about far more than books and exams. From football and netball on the pitch, to drama performances and choir on stage, to hands-on clubs where pupils bake, weave, and debate,  we give every child the space to discover their talents, build confidence, and develop the teamwork skills that last a lifetime.

Structure & Discipline

A great school day does not happen by chance. Our well-structured daily routine, clear school rules, and firm but respectful discipline policy create an environment where pupils feel secure, focused, and ready to learn. We believe that self discipline not just rule following is the foundation of every successful child, and we work hard every day to nurture it.

Care & Support

Every child who walks through our gates matters to us. Our dedicated health and safety arrangements, on-site first-aid support, and confidential guidance and counselling services ensure that no pupil ever faces a challenge alone. We partner closely with parents and guardians to keep every child safe, healthy, and emotionally well  because a happy child is a learning child.

Health, Safety & Welfare

The safety and well-being of every pupil is our top priority. Claire Junior School maintains a secure, healthy, and caring environment throughout the school day and beyond.
  • Trained first-aid attendant available on-site during all school hours
  • Basic first-aid facility / sick bay for treatment of minor ailments
  • Parents notified immediately in the event of a pupil's illness or injury
  • School compound is fully fenced and gated with a controlled entry point
  • Regular health and hygiene education sessions held for all pupils
  • Safe drinking water available throughout the school premises
  • Fire safety equipment and emergency evacuation procedures in place

School Rules & Discipline Policy

Claire Junior School maintains a firm but respectful discipline framework rooted in our core values of integrity, respect, and responsibility. Our goal is to develop self-discipline not just rule-following so that every child becomes a responsible member of society.
  • Punctuality is strictly enforced — pupils should arrive by 7:45 AM
  • Full school uniform must be worn on all school days and at official events
  • Respectful communication and conduct are expected at all times
  • Bullying, fighting, and use of abusive language are strictly prohibited
  • Mobile phones and electronic gadgets are not permitted for pupils
  • Damage to school property will attract a fine payable by the parent/guardian
  • Serious misconduct is handled through a formal disciplinary committee with parental involvement
